A little about myself
I'm an 18 year old teenager who is obsessed with the web, and anything related to technology. Even when I was growing up, technology was part of my life. Surfing the beginings of the web during the 1990s on AOL is ingrained in my mind. I became inspired to learn more about the web and technology, I could not believe the potential of the communication aspects of the web. The power of the written or typed word astounded me.
A couple of years ago I had the brilliant idea of trying to learn more about programming. I started on C++ and failed misearably to gain any insight into how to work the mysteries of that language. I gave up, and moved on the next best thing at the time: HTML & CSS. Since then, I have never looked back. After building a couple of websites for fun, I developed a passion for creating websites for others, and over time, I became adept at using programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and other development tools.
What I can offer you
I believe in the motto “less is more,” and the acronym KISS or Keep It Simple Stupid. On the internet, people have no time to search around a busy webpage with no clear organization. A key statistic involves the average web surfer only spending five seconds on a single website. If they don’t see anything that interests them, they move on.
